Discuss the book: Wednesday, March 7, 6:00pm

Join the Canajoharie Library and the Palatine Literary Society for a discussion of the book Serena by Ron Rash.

Traveling to the mountains of 1929 North Carolina to forge a timber business with her new husband, Serena Pemberton champions her mastery of harsh natural and working conditions but turns murderous when she learns she cannot bear children. A beautifully written gothic novel, Rash paints an unforgettable portrait of a truly frightening woman. Facilitated by the Palatine Literary Society. Starting in mid-February we will have a Nook SimpleTouch ereader loaded with ebooks for you to borrow with your library card. The Nook can be checked-out for two weeks and is pre-loaded with new bestsellers for adults and teens. Each week we add one additional book to the Nook.
