The library collection includes books, both fiction and non fiction, for children and adults. We also acquire magazines, pamphlets, books on tape, videos, music recordings, and software. Most items are available for borrowing.

The library catalog contains full information on the holdings of the Canajoharie Library and Art Gallery, including current availibility. Users may use the catalog to request items, to renew borrowed items, and to check other borrower information. In addition, the catalog provides information on the holdings of most public libraries in an eight county area in upstate New York. The catalog may be accessed on site, via computer and modem at (518)673-8160, or via the internet at http://catalog.sals.edu.

Use of library resources on site is free and open to all. Borrowing privileges are also provided to all. A valid library card must be presented when users wish to borrow materials. Library cards may be obtained at the library.

Materials may be requested and loans may be renewed on site, by telephone, or via computer using the library catalog.
